The Same Skin, Priced by Passport.

The currency you buy Valorant skins with. Riot publishes regional prices openly, varies them deliberately, and adjusts them periodically. This page converts them daily and measures who pays the most for the identical 950 VP against the US at $9.99.

The 950 VP base includes a standing 50 VP bonus for a 1,000 VP total. This index prices the labelled 950-base amount. Brazil uses a different tier structure (1,120 base at R$39.90) — disclosed in the methodology.

Implied Cost in US Dollars

The same purchase, in dollars, today.

The US bar at $9.99 is the line. Below it, the same skin costs less. Above it, players pay a premium for the identical top-up.

Section 02

The Index

Riot publishes its regional prices. This is what they look like side by side.

Local price, converted at today's rate, measured against $9.99. Negative means the market gets a cheaper entry than US players. Positive means they overpay for the same cosmetics budget.

Market Local Price (950 VP) Implied USD Today vs US Baseline VP-Implied FX Confidence

The rate at which the local VP tier would cost exactly $9.99. Above the market rate: the tag has drifted cheap. Below it: that market overpays for the same skin budget.

Argentina: Brazil uses a different VP tier structure from the rest of the world. The closest tier to the 950-VP benchmark is 1,120 VP base at R$39.90. Brazil's implied cost per 100 VP is calculated on 1,120 base VP, not 950. This understates the per-unit premium slightly.

Turkey: Turkey: official Riot price is ₺310 for 950 VP (2026 update). Included in the table. The implied USD cost fluctuates sharply with the lira, making Turkey one of the highest-volatility rows on the desk.

Drift Over Time

Repegs are events. Everything between is drift.

Vertical jumps were Riot repricing events. Everything else was currency drift. Between adjustments, the real dollar cost of 800 Robux drifts with the exchange rate. This page captures that drift daily.

How Valorant Points Compare in These Markets

Premium or discount vs US baseline for all six indexes, today.

Riot deliberately varies VP pricing by region. The Philippines (-35.0%) sits at one of the deepest discounts on this desk — ₱400 for 950 VP versus $9.99 in the US. Turkey (-34.2%) is the most volatile row: Riot has adjusted Turkish VP pricing several times as the lira has weakened, making it a live test of how publishers respond to currency collapse.

So What?

What This Means for Players

A clean test of storefront discipline.

Riot publishes its regional VP prices and adjusts them openly — it is the most transparent repricing behaviour on this desk. When Turkey's lira weakens, Riot eventually updates the TRY price. The window between currency movement and repricing is the period where the implied discount is largest, and this page tracks it daily.

Valorant Points cannot be transferred or refunded. The skin you buy stays on the account it was purchased on. The price gap between Philippines and UK for the same cosmetics budget is the full spread of the regional pricing decision Riot makes, recalculated every morning.

Section 05

Methodology

How this index is built.
  • US price: Roblox web store. Confirmed current. Tagged Official.
  • Regional prices: FoxReload distributor data, May 2026. Tagged Reseller-reported or Contested until direct storefront verification. India prices conflict across sources and are flagged.
  • Exchange rates: Frankfurter. Daily mid-market rates from 84 central banks, fetched on every page load. Falls back to a stamped snapshot if the fetch fails.
  • Storefront: Web store prices only. App-store purchases carry a platform commission and are excluded.
  • It does not claim Roblox is mispricing anything. Regional pricing is deliberate purchasing power adjustment.
  • Part of any gap reflects that policy working as intended, alongside app-store matrices and local tax treatment.
  • Robux cannot be transferred between regional accounts. These gaps are not a practical arbitrage route.

Since November 2024, $9.99 on the Roblox web store yields 1,000 Robux due to a 25% bonus. The 800-Robux SKU remains a distinct purchasable tier and is still the labelled bundle in most regional storefronts.

This index benchmarks the 800-Robux bundle. The distinction is intentional: the index measures the bundle price, not the effective yield after bonus.

  • Roblox-set local prices: Roblox denominates the purchase in local currency for certain markets. These appear in the main table.
  • USD-billed with local tax: Markets like Argentina are billed in USD. Local banks apply import taxes and withholding at checkout. This is tracked separately in the Argentina note, not the main table.
Benchmark bundle: 950 VP base (950 + 50 standing bonus = 1,000 total) via Riot web store. Baseline: United States at $9.99. Brazil benchmark uses the 1,120 VP base tier (closest available).. FX: Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.dev) · daily mid-market rates from 84 central banks. Price table last audited: 17 July 2026. Verification status shown per row: Official (Roblox storefront), Confirmed (multiple independent sources), Reseller-reported (provisional, single distributor), Contested (sources diverge by 30%+ and require primary-source verification before treating as authoritative). Argentina and Turkey are excluded from the main table on structural grounds; see note in Section 01.

Section 06

The Reframe

The currency that buys every skin.

Riot deliberately publishes its regional VP prices and adjusts them as an explicit pricing tool. When the lira falls, the TRY price holds until Riot updates it. When it updates, it moves in steps. Every step is a decision: who pays more, who pays less, for the same cosmetic. The Big Mac Index endured for forty years because it turned purchasing power into a sandwich. This page does the same with the currency that buys Valorant skins. Not what 950 VP costs. Who is asked to pay the most, and how deliberately that gap was set.
